I am an independent thinker. I will support the attitudes of our community on important issues such as affordable energy, taxes, economy, the second amendment, and Jessica’s Law.
Sadly, my opponent has been a party-line voter on each of these issues as she served in the House of Representatives. She is a nice lady, but we cannot stand by and let her represent us in the Senate. She has been in the government for nearly a decade and wants more. So I have set my business aside and have been working every day for months walking neighborhoods and visiting voters. Vote for me and I will work to represent the people of this district.
I have worked for years as a small business owner so I understand the economy on a personal level. I have a common sense approach to life that comes from a wide range of life experiences:
- I am father of four children
- I am a faithful husband
- I am a small business owner
- I have traveled the country as a consultant studying alternative and renewable energy use in our nation’s airports
- I did volunteer church work in the inner city of Chicago
- I travel around Colorado and various other states speaking to youth groups about life values
- I have been a teacher in two community colleges
- I have worked for government contractors (I know how the government treats YOUR tax dollars)
- I have been a regular everyday employee in private industry
- I do volunteer work at Mt. St. Vincent's Children's home and in my own public outreach event called the Woodglen Jam Session
